Since the beginning of the Catholic Church, there have been ideas and later programs with the goal of supporting Catholics and strengthening their faith. People of faith have always enjoyed a close relationship with God and taken great comfort in their religion. However, life’s challenges can test the resolve of even the most dedicated Christian and present-day temptations make it even harder to remain commitment to one’s beliefs. RENEW International was founded by priests who recognized the struggles of their parishioners. They wanted to offer ways to help rebuild the community spirit of Catholics within a diocese and reach out to people who needed better ways to merge their beliefs with their lives.
RENEW International has authored very successful programs which have helped people around the world. The reasons for their success can be attributed to their unique understanding of the struggles within a parish and within a person. They are realistic in their approach to what works in today’s society and have offered new ways people can celebrate their faith and find true and lasting spiritual renewal. Catholics in over 150 dioceses in the United States alone have participated in and benefited from the special work of RENEW International. Participants in their programs enjoy the love of God have a greater understanding of how their faith can affect their actions and strengthen relationships with others.
