Alex Crisses joined Insight Venture Partners in 2002, where he has primarily concentrated on infrastructure software and internet investments. Before becoming part of Insight, he was part of the team at Credit Suisse First Boston’s Global Energy and Power Group, where he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst. Alex Crisses has a distinguished record of academic achievement, having graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a BS in Economics. He received the school’s Highest Honor and went on to earn an MBA with High Distinction from the renowned Harvard School of Business.
Alex Crisses hasn’t only focused his attention on academic and professional success. He has devoted his personal time to charity work. Alex is the Former Director of Fundraising and an Executive Committee Member of Minds Matter, a NYC-based charity to help underprivileged teens. Minds Matter aims to prepare high-achieving high school students from financially challenged families for college. He has worked tirelessly on behalf of the New York City Police Foundation, both as an Event Chair, fund-raising for the NYPD, and raising funds to specifically benefit the Sergeants Benevolent Association. Alex is also a long-standing supporter of the Make a Wish Foundation, which dedicates itself to changing the lives of children who have life-threatening medical conditions. Alex Crisses is a consummate businessman but also a person who gives back through charities and foundations committed to helping others.
